The Network Interface Logic Group (Original RTB call processing group), a development team within Billing Group of Comverse, is responsible for development and maintainence of applications for real-time call authorization, IVRU functionalities, USSD self care and call back functionalities, GPRS charging and authorization, and CAP3SMS authorization. Responsibilities: Participate in the whole life cycle of development of IVRU (Interactive Voice Response Unit) system --- Reviewing FRS/FDD, Writing HLD/DDD, coding, Unit Test, integration test, and documentaion. Support PQA during Product Validation Phase, Supoort Field Problems debugging/resolution, Provide consultation/solution to internal/external customers, provide support/training to new team members or other collegues. Basic Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science 0-4 years experience with Java and J2EE platform(EJB, RMI, Servlet/JSP), however must be fluent with Java Programming language. 0-2 years experience with XML, WebService implementation. Familiar with Eclipse framework and app servers such as TomCat/Weblogic Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills familiar with Unix or Linux Solid understanding of the fundamentals of computer systems architecture, operating systems, and networks. Know basic algorithms and data structures; be able to quickly identify inefficient algorithms and recommend improvements Strong in multi-threaded programming Desired (not required): MS degree in Computer/Electrical Engr or Comp Sc C/C++ Java Networking/Threads Excellent communication and technical writing Experience in real-time systems
