| Water lillies! Water lillies! Water lilles! Notice the really black background of the pictures. The water on which these
plants are grown are colored with a black harmless dye that prevents the growth of algae detrimental to the growth of water lillies. |

Hmmm... Photoshop :-). With a great image manipulation tool like Photoshop, almost anything is possible. I started with not so
many workable images, but I decided to use really hi-res. scans(base*16 using my photo CD scan) of some of the flower pics and cropped
heavily. | |

| Photoshop again. Thats one heck of a way to spice up boring pictures! |

| The fountain garden and the italian gardens. By the way, if you are planning to visit, keep in mind that tripods without
permits are banned inside the gardens. You need to have the consent of the security folks whose office is located at the main
entrance, behind where you buy tickets. (Tickets are $12 a head when I last bought 'em, but $50 bucks gets you in for a year, any
number of times.) Tripods with consent are allowed from 9:00am to 4:00pm ONLY. I didn't know this and my tripod was confiscated by a
friendly security officer who reminded me of the rules.
