Fiberglass Lost in Space B9 Torso




My torsos are just like the other authentic torsos that you've seen for sale by others. It's a professionally made 1/8" thick fiberglass clone of the original B-9 torso. You can be assured that the standard Builders Club parts will fit my torso!

The top 4 pictures show the torso the way it comes from the manufacturer. The bottom 4 pics show the torso after I have finished prepping it for paint.

Unfinished: Fresh from copies of the original molds



Finished: Seams filled, sanded, and primed



I am selling the torsos the way I buy them - fresh out of the mold from the manufacturer. This means there will be seams to fill with bondo, some sanding, and then priming the torso before painting. The majority of the work is neeeded at the seams, which can be seen in the pictures. If you are the least bit handy, this is no big deal. If you put too much bondo on, you sand it off. If you sand too much off, you can put bondo on. And I'm sure you can spray auto body primer from a spray can. Believe me, if I can do it, you can too. :)

What you don't get is a ready to paint torso. What you do get is a torso made from copies of the original molds that needs some finishing at an incredibly discounted price.

The first thing I thought about when I opened the box was " OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THIS THING". I guess I forgot that somebody had to be able to get inside of it. And only seeing it on TV or in pictures you don't realize how big it is in person. It survived the shipping as I did not see any cracks on it. THANK YOU.
