Rudolf (Rudi) Eigenmann is a Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His core research interests include cyberinfrastructure design, programming methodologies, compiler optimization, and high performance computing (HPC) systems and applications. His lab’s research goals include upgrading the Delaware region’s cyberinfrastructure, designing a comprehensive standard for measuring the speed of HPC systems, and innovating automatic parallelization. Eigenmann serves on the advisory boards for the Molecular Sciences Software Institute and the Institute for Advanced Computational Science. Eigenmann earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering/computer science from ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
