THE CENTER FOR BIOINFORMATICS AND COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY

To promote, coordinate, and support interdisciplinary activities in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.

AICoE facilitates teams of AI partners within and outside UD to collaboratively apply technological solutions and create impactful AI projects.

NSF eCAT INDUSTRY-UNIVERSITY COOPERATIVE RESEARCH CENTER

eCAT IUCRC intends to develop and deploy next-generation electrification, resilient sensing/perception, real-time edge computing, and smart infrastructure techniques to achieve higher safety and efficiency, aiming to initiate and accelerate the transformation of mobility methods from conventional vehicles to electric, connected and autonomous vehicles by creating essential and innovative technologies.

DELAWARE BIOTECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE

DBI provides a network of state-of-the-art equipment for the UD community and the region. The facility is located in the Ammon-Pinizzotto Biopharmaceutical Innovation Center.

DATA SCIENCE INSTITUTE

This institute serves as a nucleating effort to catalyze and coordinate data science initiatives at UD.

DEMOCRATIZING ACCESS TO RESEARCH SOFTWARE ENGINEERING (DARSE)

Our mission is to democratize access to research software engineering (RSE) by creating a team of RSE professionals and trainees in order to advance scientific research and upskill our workforce generation at UD and beyond with state-of-the-art AI, High Performance Computing and Machine Learning skills.

FIRST STATE AI INSTITUTE

This initiative will invest in a state-of-the-art AI infrastructure to provide the computational power necessary to develop and deploy cutting-edge AI models, including large language models (LLMs) to create a hub of excellence that will integrate existing AI efforts, drive innovation, and position the University as a leader in AI technology.
